Terms and Conditions

Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy asks you to please carefully read the following Terms and Conditions as they apply to each course booked with Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy and any related educators throughout the UK.

Anyone proceeding with a course booking accepts these Terms & Conditions.

 1. A booking fee is required at time of booking to confirm your place, the amount due will depend on which course you are booking. This is non-refundable and non-transferable once the booking fee is paid, you will not be entitled to a refund or be able to transfer it to another course or date.

 

2. The balance for any course booked is due on or before the 14 days prior to the first date of your course starting. Unless stated upon booking. If the full balance amount is not paid by this time, then your place will then be cancelled, and the booking fee amount will be lost as stated above (No1). All final balances, kit and course fees once paid are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

3. Places are only guaranteed if FULL payment has been received by the correct dates.

 

4. Confirmation emails will be sent out by Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy  within a week of making the course booking and paying the

booking fee.

 

5. Students who cancel their course after the full balance has been paid and/or do not attend the course will lose 100% of the fees paid. In extreme circumstances Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy  and any related educator/s may allow students to change the course date however this is at the discretion of Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy  management. Any course changes will result in a £50 admin charge which must be paid by the student prior to a new date being booked.

 

6. Any course that requires the student to have previous experience then a copy of the necessary qualification / certificate will be required at time of booking. This is your responsibility to ensure you have sent a copy to us as this is needed to be able to attend the course. Please send to manchesternailandbeautyacademy@hotmail.com

 

7. Punctuality is essential all students should arrive 10 / 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the course time set out in the course confirmation. If you are late (more than 30 mins) you may be refused entry to the training. This is to avoid disruption for the other students on the course. If you are refused entry, please contact Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy bookings team to reschedule, a fee of £50 will apply for rescheduling your training.

 

8. Students must be dressed appropriately for any courses and are required to wear smart clothing or a professional uniform. Hair must be tied back / up and a minimum amount of jewelry (possibly none) is to be worn

 

9. All students / models must behave in an appropriate manner and not undertake any act that could bring dishonour to the Training Academy, as this could result in the student / model to be dismissed and unable to attend ANY future Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy courses.

 

10. Students / models attending the courses must be over the age of 16 years. Under no circumstances are children allowed in during the training sessions.

 

11. All students / models information is kept confidential.

 

12. You are responsible for arranging your own models needed to work on during the course. If for any reason you do not have a model, please contact us and we will do our best to help but cannot guarantee we can arrange a model for you.

 

13. Students / models are to turn up to ALL courses / sessions with NO nail products on your nails. Please note if attending the E-File course then you must have Acrylic / Hard Gel with a layer of Gel Polish on yours nails as this is a requirement.

 

14. Some courses may require you to work on each other, so you may need to be a model at some point for another student. Or you may be asked to work on other students if necessary.

 

15. Students understand that to gain the qualification for the course they are booked on they are to attend ALL sessions / course dates as required for the booked course and are to return to complete the assessment day. Students who fail to turn up for sessions / courses / assessment days will be required to pay an additional £50 fee (per day missed) to re-book the missed day / evening or assessment and it is the student’s responsibility to re arrange the missed session to a day / time that suits both the student and educator. Students who do not return for the re-assessment date provided will be required to pay an additional £50 fee to re-book the assessment day.

 

16. All students are responsible for practicing between their courses / assessment days and completing set homework.

 

17. Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy may take visual and audio recordings of the students during the course and reserve the right to use these for promotional, management and educational purposes. (in the UK and Overseas) Students consent for this will be assumed to have been granted unless otherwise indicated by the student in writing or email prior to the start of the course.

Students can take photographs during some sections of the course and are for their own personal use, Audio and video recordings are NOT allowed.

 

18. Mobile phones should be kept on silent during training.

 

19. All manuals / handouts and course documents supplied by Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy MUST NOT be copied or used in any way, other than for your own personal use and MUST NOT be reproduced in any form and the use of them is strictly prohibited without prior permission in writing from Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy 

 

20. Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy and any related educators reserves the right to change the course contents / training dates / course requirements and prices at any time without prior notice. The student will not be entitled to any refund should the above happen, but they may transfer to another date / day that is available.

21. Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy and any related educators do not take any responsibility for any valuables or possessions that go missing or are lost / broken within the Academy building or parking area while you are attending any of our courses. It is the responsibility of the student / model to ensure their possessions / valuables are kept safe always.

 

22. Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy and any related educators will NOT tolerate Physical / verbal or written abuse to any members of the Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy team or any other student / models at any time. If this happens it will result in you not being able to continue the course or attend ANY future courses.

 

23. Drink refreshments will be available for you to enjoy, during your training. If you have any special requirements please be aware, that Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy have no control over the ingredients of the refreshments available and takes no responsibility for clients suffering any allergic reactions or special dietary specifications.

You are welcome to bring your own suitable refreshments.

 

24. As part of our commitment to providing excellent customer service at Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy your opinions are valued and we welcome any of your comments, compliments and feedback you may have to help us make our training academies a better place for you and others. You will be provided with a feedback form at the end of your course.

 

25. In the unlikely event Manchester Nail and Beauty Academy must cancel your course due to circumstances beyond our control, you will be offered the next available date for the course you had booked.

 

26. We reserve the right to change the above terms and conditions at any time and you agree to abide by the most up to date version of this agreement.

 

27. Certificates will be issued in the name stated within your confirmation email. Failure to report any errors within 24hrs of receiving your confirmation will result in a £15 admin fee to amend after this time.

All replacement certificates are chargeable at £15 per certificate for all completed courses.

 

 Complaints Procedure:

In the unlikely event that you have a complaint please go directly to your educator who will be more than happy to help resolve the issue.

All complaints must be made in writing

A record of the complaint will be made, and a copy sent out to you within 7 working days. Please ensure you provide us with a contact address for this.

Any complaint must be made within 7 days of the date of it occurring.

We aim to investigate all complaints within 30 working days.
